how we can help you
Our team of specialist treatment practitioners provide free face to face, phone and online support and treatment in the Yorkshire and Humberside area.
Initially we will take your details and arrange for you to have an assessment, this is for you and us to establish how we can best help you to achieve your individual goals.
We will then work with you to formulate a recovery care plan to meet your individual needs. We use a safe and evidence based model of care, which includes a motivational and CBT approach. We equip you with tools and coping strategies to enable you to make positive changes and build on your strengths and resources.
It is a simple and straightforward process to request GamCare support, either by making a call to our office or registering online.
Our ‘breakthrough’ programme provides an online peer to peer support group for individuals and affected others in recovery from problem gambling. This is available to all our clients and especially for those who may prefer the support and mentoring provided by others.
Our treatment services are available for anyone affected by problem gambling across the Yorkshire & Humberside region and we provide these services in a number of locations. We also provide phone and online support for those of you not wishing to visit a location.
GamCare has designed a number of helpful and interactive resources to assist anyone who has recognised that gambling may be an issue for them. Please check out our links page, which identifies support organisations, both within the UK and internationally, for problem gambling and related issues.
