Robert Baker

Robert Baker (Sheffield) is a qualified psychodynamic counsellor, he utilises an individualised and integrative approach, incorporating CBT and person centred approaches. Robert believes that a trusting therapeutic relationship lays the foundation for positive change and his work is underpinned by the unconditional positive regard he has for each individual.

He has worked as a counsellor within the NHS, CRUSE and secondary education. He is a registered member of the BACP. Robert works in private practice and also as a GamCare counsellor, providing counselling for anyone negatively impacted by problem gambling. He has a particular interest in work-related issues and believes that how we manage our work can significantly impact on our close relationships and our quality of life.
