Nicola Chaplin (Huddersfield) is a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP.
She has gained a broad insight of working with clients from one of the country’s leading mental health charities and currently volunteers for various social care and community based charities. Nicola’s work encompasses a diverse client base including young people, adults, families and carers.
Nicola works holistically, adopting an integrative model which incorporates mindfulness, focussing, compassion, CBT and spirituality. She respects the idea of healing through relationship with others and is passionate about the importance of creating a positive therapeutic relationship in which to facilitate change and personal development. Seeing each person as unique is reflected in her approach to creating an honest, safe and non-judgemental space for clients to hear their own voice in their own time.
