Getting started
What happens when you contact Krysallis?
Choosing therapy may feel a little daunting so we make sure you have the time to work out whether it is right for you, and we match you with the right therapist for you to work with.
When you contact us, we will put you in touch with one of our therapists so that you can arrange an initial session. You may also choose to have a free brief consultation with the therapist over the phone in advance of the first session if you wish.
We offer both daytime and evening sessions, and also Saturdays. Sessions usually last for 50 minutes. Group family sessions last up to 75 minutes.
The first session is an assessment session, during which we will agree on and plan a way forward with you.
We will usually arrange ongoing weekly sessions, with a review after 6 weeks. However, we recognise that this isn’t always possible or practical, and will do our best to accommodate your needs.
There is no set number of sessions – the treatment will continue for as long as you and your therapist agree it is helpful. Some clients feel they only need short-term help, whilst others may come for much longer.
